Audiobook recording
in Toronto.

Give the voice behind your book a place to focus. Plan narration sessions at our North York studio, whether you are recording a new title or returning for corrections.

From page to performance

A considered session.
A clear scope.

Audiobook production brings together the manuscript, narrator, director and technical requirements. Tell us which parts your team is handling and where you need studio support.

01 / PUBLISHERS

Record Toronto talent

Coordinate studio time around your author or narrator. Share the manuscript length, target schedule and the producer or director responsible for the recording.

02 / AUTHORS

Narrate your own book

Discuss the practicalities before your first session: reading preparation, session length and the people involved. Bring the manuscript version intended for recording.

03 / PICKUPS

Return for corrections

Organize replacement passages using clear page references and correction notes. If the original was recorded elsewhere, provide reference audio and available setup details.

04 / PRODUCTION

Define what comes next

Let us know whether you need recording only or want to discuss editing, proofing and mastering. Availability, responsibilities and deliverables will be confirmed in your quote.

Prepare for the session

A little preparation.
A better recording day.

01

Finalize the text.

Identify the manuscript version and passages to record. Prepare pronunciation guidance for names, specialist terms and unfamiliar places.

02

Plan the people.

Confirm who is narrating and directing, their availability and session length. Directors can join by Zoom using the studio’s Starlink internet connection. Discuss breaks and monitoring needs in advance.

03

Agree on delivery.

Provide your publisher’s requirements and deadline. Establish who handles editing, proof listening, corrections and final approval.

For your production coordinator

What to include
in the inquiry.

A short brief is enough to start a useful conversation. There is no need to send an unpublished manuscript with your first message.

Start an audiobook inquiry ↗

  • Book type and approximate manuscript word count
  • Number of narrators and whether they are confirmed
  • Preferred recording dates and final delivery deadline
  • Director or producer attendance, including remote requirements
  • Recording-only or additional production support requested
  • Publisher specifications and expected review or pickup process

Useful answers

Before the first chapter.

How much does audiobook recording cost?

Pricing depends on the manuscript, recording schedule and production scope. Send the word count and required services so we can discuss a quote. Studio time and finished audio length are different measures.

Can my publisher supply the director and editor?

Tell us how your publisher’s team is organized. We will discuss studio recording and the handoff to the people responsible for direction, editing and final approval.

Do you supply narrators?

Include casting needs in your inquiry. Narrator sourcing, availability and fees must be discussed separately rather than assumed to be included in a studio booking.

Will my audio meet my publisher’s requirements?

Send those requirements before booking so we can confirm the agreed recording and production scope. Acceptance depends on the publisher’s specifications and review process.

Can I book a correction session?

Send the list of corrections, relevant script references and your availability. Include a reference recording if the original session took place at another facility.
